There are 22 musicians on the album.  We are told this is rare. Each one brought their own individuality and brilliance to the songs.  And with so many musicians, we had the opportunity to go wild and explore many possibilities.  We don’t have a traditional sound, per say but the voices are undeniably Irish.  For example, “Siuil A Ruin” is a traditional piece, sung in English and Gaelic.   The music was kept somewhat traditional featuring the flute and a beautiful nylon guitar.  But this was one of the first songs we recorded and as we started recording the others, a new sound materialized.  Take a listen!
